18+ million Tenants in Kenya are concerned and worried about harassments, mistreatment, exploitations, unlawful evictions, unjustified rent increments, sub-standard buildings and poor housing conditions which are common happenings in most residential places in Kenya. Kenya Tenants Assistance Agency (KETAA) was formed with a strong mandate to address these issues and champion the rights of tenants. KETAA represents tenants, empowers tenants, provides legal advice, provides legal representation, educates tenants, campaigns for the rights of tenants and development of poor facilities in residential areas.
Kenya Tenants Assistance Agency (KETAA) began as a tenants rights activist organization working for fair treatment and legal protections against harassments, exploitations, unlawful evictions, poor housing conditions and unfair treatment to tenants by landlords and their agents.
